Ferrie Pot

Ferrie Pot, PhD. is from the Netherlands and serves on the idilmat Advisory Board as a representative of ECORYS; where he serves as the Deputy Director of the Public Finance Management Unit. His responsibility on the idilmat Advisory Board includes the review and scrutiny of idilmat´s products and services in the area of public finance management and audit. He has extensive international experience in both developing and transition countries in the Western Balkan, Caribbean, Central Asia and Africa including Ghana, St. Lucia, the Seychelles, Tajikistan, Albania and Moldova. He is especially well grounded in issues of internal and external control. Dr. Pot has done extensive training in the areas of performance budgeting and audit. Early in his career he served as an assistant professor of Economics and in dedicated training programs on topics in the domain of external audit and programme budgeting. Dr. Pot served on the Netherlands Court of Audit and was an active participant in the reform to performance based budgeting in the Netherlands. Dr. Pot served for three years as Deputy Mayor of Gemeente Spijkenisse. He holds a doctorate in Economics from the Erasmus Universiteit, Rotterdam.
