Ernesto Taricone

Ernesto Taricone, a Ghanaian citizen born in Rome in 1948, brings to Idilmat Ltd. an extensive resume of business success in a developing country context. He is an exceptionally hardworking and innovative industrialist with vision, tenacity and an incomparable ability to turn ideas into reality. He transformed a family business into one of the most successful companies in the region. In many ways his company´s success has been a direct result of Ghana´s sustained recovery and steady growth over the past 25 years; and it in turn serves as a microcosm for Ghana´s continuing development. His companies are setting the pace in the areas of real estate development, aluminum products, wood products, furniture and kitchens, helicopter services, pre-stressed concrete products, galvanized steel frames, quarries and agricultural farms. One of his current projects is Villaggio Vista, a real estate development that includes a 27 storey signature tower. He brings to the idilmat project a pragmatic viewpoint that has kept it grounded, focused and well placed to sustain its viability.
