Charles Hegbor

Charles Komla Hegbor is a Public Finance Management Consultant and Public Sector Auditor with Idilmat. He was born in Hohoe in the Volta Region, Ghana on 30th November 1971. He has over 16 years working experience in financial management, accounting and the audit of public and private sector entities. His work experience spans across the public sector of a number of developing countries. Charles brings a great deal of experience in public expenditure management, accounting and audit. He has provided public sector consulting and audit services in Belize, Burkina Faso, Eritrea, Ghana, Jamaica and Malawi. He has done a number of assignments for the European Commission. His private sector experience encompasses the manufacturing sector, information technology and telecommunications sector as well as the services sector. He has done stints with Peace Indoghana Limited, IS Internet Solutions Ghana Limited, Tandem Networks Limited, Interassociates Investments Limited/Zain Communications Ghana Limited, and Pozzolana Ghana Limited. He is married and has five lovely children.

Charles is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brooks University - UK. Further, he is completing his Masters’ Programme in Public Finance Management with the University of London.
